Satinspar Knife, carved from a single piece of crystal, with leather cutwork. Bound by sterling silver chain. This piece came about after a conversation with a friend who has a penchant for sharp toys. A challenge I was more than happy to take on, and I must admit, I am pleased with the result.

Amethyst Knife, with carved wood handle, and silver filigree decoration. I was lucky enough to get my hands on an amethyst crystal with a very deep hue. The trouble with knives is that they have become an addiction - I find myself looking at chunks of rock to see if there is a knife in there, waiting to come out. In what remains of this particular amethyst, I can see at least one dagger :)

Smokey Quartz Knife, again carved from a single piece of crystal. What I like about quartz is the way it picks up the light, and can be polished to an almost clear translucency. Oh, yes, and it holds a very sharp edge.
